Built Out of Necessity
We started Desktop Industrial because we needed it ourselves. Running our own small-scale production and fulfillment operations, we spent years piecing together tools, supplies, and equipment from a dozen different sources — overpaying, waiting on shipping, and settling for products that weren’t designed for businesses our size.
The industrial supply market is split in two: cheap imported junk that breaks, and commercial-grade gear priced for 50-person factory floors. Neither one serves the small operator who needs real quality at a real-world price.
